Khor Rori was the Biblical port of Ophir, where  a potsherd with TamilBrahmi script is claimed to have been discovered.Sumhuram city where the potsherd is claimed to have been discovered was the palace site of legendary queen Sheeba spouse of Solomon of Biblical fame.
